Abstract


Over the centuries, many experts and scholars on the motivation. The motivation to explore even compete with the history of the development of psychology. Although it has a long history of concern motivation, only in the past two decades, the study of education as the background motivation before by psychology and pedagogy researchers attach great importance and widespread concern. Demand theory, learning theory, growth and mastery theory, the theory and cognitive theory based on a survey of secondary school students English learning motivation. The research to quantitative analysis supplemented by qualitative analysis is divided into three stages: the first stage, I chose two classes of 95 secondary school students of science class conducted a questionnaire survey and collect their entrance exam scores to about the status of their English learning motivation and their level of English. These two classes use the same textbooks, sizeable and in academic performance, are very close to the background of teaching, learning environment. I put them labeled as Class A and Class B. Class A for the experimental classes and control classes by an experienced English teachers - Professor Chen Laoshi by author professor, B classes. Then the author of the survey collected for analysis and discussion, to work out strategies to inspire secondary school students in English learning motivation and implementation of these strategies in the Class A and Class B unchanged for future comparison as the control classes. The second phase, the teaching strategies in the Class A month after implementation, I do a total of two interviews, labeled interview one and interview. The interview for the author of the students to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their views of the author teaching strategies and the teaching strategies. Interviews aimed at understanding the two students for the Class B Chen teaching methods and student feedback in their classroom. Two classes each select six students, three boys and three girls, each independently selected from the group consisting of students with outstanding achievements medium and low achievers. After the interview was over, the author based on student feedback on teaching strategies made some adjustments; according to interviews with two re-affirmed the Class B Class A excellent control classes. Three months after the implementation of the third stage, a new teaching strategies, the author carried out tests on two classes A, B, according to the test results prove that the author mentioned stimulate the improvement of the secondary school students learning motivation strategies and secondary school students learning motivation to help their English of success. The research, three research questions were raised and resolved. Experimental results show that the A students learning motivation and English achievement has been to improve; A, B two classes of differences in interests and attitudes no significant difference in the effort and learning objectives; come and forecast student achievement the main factor is the interest and efforts. The results show the importance of students' interest in learning, students positive attitude towards learning and their learning efforts.
