Abstract


This paper reports for the college entrance examination in English reading comprehension study points to improve students ' English reading ability and test-taking skills for the purpose of training of high school students in English reading strategies , and reading tests , student interviews , questionnaires as a tool , the use of quantitative and qualitative research methods to analyze the impact of strategy training for high school students reading ability . The results show the strategy instruction to improve students' overall level of comprehension and reading speed , greatly enhance the students understand the article , carried out comprehensive reasoning and speculated meaning , the ability , and find the facts , the details of the capacity has not been subject to the direct effects of the experiment . In addition, questionnaires and student interviews , secondary school students on reading strategies are poorly understood , after test students in general agree with the strategy training attitude , such training activities can be safely used in high school English class reading training . The text is divided into five parts : The first chapter introduces the literature review of the research background , significance , and reading strategies as well as the classification of language learning strategies . The second chapter describes the theory of the basis of the Institute , as well as domestic and foreign research these theories , and pointed out that these problems exist in the study and the significance of this study . The third chapter details the research process . This chapter includes assumptions , experimental main experimental tool , the experiment , and data collection . Experimental classes and control classes before and after the training , the authors conducted a pre-test and post-test and reading strategies questionnaire . Post-test , the authors of the experiment, the students conducted interviews . This training consists of three phases , which lasted fifteen weeks . Chapter IV data analysis and discussion . Chapter V is the conclusion , the research by the survey analysis and experimental research , also pointed out the inadequacies of this study , a number of recommendations on further research .
