Abstract


Development in the study of gender role conflict in the 1970s, from the date of arising, has been the concern of many researchers, to become one of the important research topic in the field of psychology. The researchers believe that gender role conflict will affect the individual's mental health, quality of life, interpersonal relationships and family functioning. Of gender role conflict research in the context of Chinese culture and the study of gender role conflict of the high school students still in its infancy, so in-depth study of high school students of gender role conflict has important theoretical and practical significance. China's unique cultural background, the study on the basis of the foreign studies of gender role conflict, literature analysis, interviews, open investigation and survey methods the initial preparation of the high school students of gender role conflict questionnaire verify the Gender Role Conflict four dimension structure model. Differences in gender role conflict dimension of the demographic variables were compared and analyzed using t-test and ANOVA analysis, and the relationship between gender role conflict dimension, perceived social support and psychological pressure. analysis study on gender role conflict predicted role of each dimension of psychological pressure as well as to comprehend social support on the relationship between the two regulatory role. The main conclusions of the study are as follows: first, our high school students gender role conflict is a multi-dimensional variables, which include restrictive emotional, homosexual restrictive intimate behavior and success, power and competition, and work and family conflict four dimensions, and explore the results of the factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis showed that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity. Second, our high school students of gender role conflict there are significant differences in some demographic variables. Third, the presence of the high school students of gender role conflict and psychological stress of the high school students was significantly related to exclude the impact of demographic variables, of Mental Stress hierarchical regression analysis found that gender role conflict has a significant role in the prediction of psychological pressure . Perceived social support into the regression equation significantly increase the amount of interpretation of the regression equation. Gender role conflict and perceived social support interactions, only the relationship of family support on the conflict between work and family and psychological stress has a negative regulatory role.
