Abstract


The remaining in rural areas of political participation behavior is left behind trying to influence and promote the activities of the political decision-making process. W town in Jiangxi Province for the survey, through questionnaires and interviews of cases left behind personnel political participation behavior cognition, motivation, attitude and behavior, to explore different individual characteristics (gender, education level, income level, political main factors outlook, job experience, etc.) left behind political participation behavior, and on this basis the corresponding policy recommendations for improving left behind staff overall political level of participation, and promote the construction of rural grassroots democracy, to guide the orderly political participation of the left behind personnel significance. The article is divided into introduction, theoretical discussion, empirical analysis and policy recommendations of four parts. Part I: Introduction. Including the issues raised, the purpose and significance of the research, the research literature review, research hypotheses with the basic concepts and the basic content of the research, ideas and methods. Part II: the theory of acts of political participation. The theoretical basis of this study, that the social exchange theory, the theory of bounded rationality and political participation doctrine discussed. Part III: Empirical Analysis of left behind personnel political participation. First, the status quo left behind staff awareness of political participation, motivation and attitude. Secondly, according to the institutionalization of political participation and non-institutionalized political participation by type, respectively, on the specific contents of the acts of political participation are described, and left behind personnel political participation behavior made an overall evaluation. On this basis, the factors affecting the correlation analysis of the behavior of political participation of the left behind personnel. Part IV: Conclusion and policy recommendations. In conclusion, the article pointed out the shortcomings of this study.
