Abstract


The food industry is a colossal industry , particularly in the current , a transition period, the food industry has entered a new stage of agricultural workers and auxiliary to the city with a rural , coordinated urban and rural development \has a special status and role . Accelerate the development of the food industry has become a major issue facing solve rural development , agricultural efficiency and farmers' income . The study is based on the theory of industrial development and industrial innovation theory , the integrated use of the comparative analysis method , quantitative analysis method described in the present characteristics of the development of the food industry in Hubei . Hubei food industry in the total economy has maintained a growth momentum , but compared to other provinces , Hubei economic benefits of the food industry is relatively low , even lower than the national average . For the provinces of Hubei such a rich agricultural resources , convenient transportation , the concentration of a large number of universities and research institutes , the development of the food industry is clearly lagging behind . Faced with a situation of Hubei economic benefits of the food industry is not high , the industry structure is irrational , poor product competitiveness , this paper proposes a need to enhance the capability of independent innovation for the food industry of Hubei transformation of economic growth mode , adjust the industrial structure , enhance the competitiveness of their products . Combined with the experience of independent innovation of the new trend of the development of the modern food industry and food industry in developed countries , and specific issues for the food industry in Hubei , Hubei enhance the capability of independent innovation , sound and rapid development of the food industry 's suggestions . According to the basic trend of the development of the food industry at home and abroad , combined with the actual status of Hubei raised Hubei development of the food industry should be to raise awareness for the pilot , in order to achieve the economic growth pattern and optimize the product structure as the theme , the food industry to create and enhance brand competitiveness as the center , extending to the deepening of the level of processing and industrial chain as the focal point for the protection of technological innovation and scientific and technological progress . Preliminary conclusions are: (1 ) to highlight the unique resources , emphasis on building their own brands ; ( 2 ) to strengthen cooperation in production and research , to promote the progress of Food Science and Technology ; ( 3 ) attach importance to the development of the food machinery industry , to improve the material and technical equipment of the food industry ; (4 ) food industrial park construction , promote the development of industrial agglomeration ; (5 ) development orders economic to carry out the outsourcing cooperation .
