Abstract


Land is the basis of human survival, land-use studies will help to better explore the potential of land, and to achieve sustainable development of human society. The urban fringe is the product of urban development to a certain stage, the city would inevitably lead to the continuous development of urban fringe land use dynamic change, restructuring and alternative land use structure and layout. The urban fringe is a combination of an urban and rural areas, both urban style, another rural economy characterized by geographic unit space, this region has not been given due attention, the lack of the necessary research to sustainable development as the theme. Based on this, the Case of Wuwei City, Wuwei city, urban fringe area focuses on land-use conditions. Reveals Wuwei city, urban fringe land use changes in the law, clear factors affect urban fringe land use change in Wuwei City. Wuwei City a typical oasis city of Hexi Corridor in Gansu Province, and inefficient use of land resources utilization blindness, severe ecological degradation.
