Abstract


Urbanization is a sign of human civilization and progress, the city is the focus of the relationship between people and land, the ecological environment is the basis for the development of the city. With the rapid economic development of the city and a sharp increase in the urban population, the stress generated by the process of urbanization on the ecological environment is an increasingly prominent role. For the ecologically fragile arid oasis, the more severe ecological and environmental problems arising in the process of urbanization. The relationship of the oasis urbanization and eco-environment interaction is an important part of the arid zone of the relationship between people and land. Urumqi as the King oasis city, along with the rapid economic development, urbanization also caused severe air pollution, water stress, excessive energy consumption, a series of ecological and environmental problems of the urban heat island. Therefore, to explore the relationship of urbanization and eco-environment interactions, the coordinated development of the urbanization and ecological environment in Urumqi, of the arid oasis urban development is an important reference significance. The papers on the basis of domestic and international urbanization and ecological environment research, the use of the comprehensive evaluation method to measure in Urumqi City from 1999 to 2006, the level of urbanization, quantitative evaluation of the Urumqi urban ecological pressure on the environment at the same time using the eco-environmental pressure index correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, the level of urbanization and the relevant factors and ecological environment pressure index. Through research, the basic conclusion of the paper is as follows: (1) during the study period Urumqi, the level of urbanization and rapid development, the composite score of the level of urbanization is increasing year by year from 1999 to 2006. (2) Urumqi ecological environmental pressures continue to increase, the overall upward trend of eco-environmental pressure index. (3) there is a strong correlation between Urumqi, the level of urbanization and the ecological pressure on the environment, the rapid development of urbanization intensified pressure on the ecological environment. (4) environmental Kuznets inverted \In this paper, the quantitative study the relationship between the pressure of Urumqi, the level of urbanization and ecological environment, proposed Urumqi urbanization and ecological environment coordinated development countermeasures important reference not only to Urumqi and the sustainable development of the cities of the arid region.
