Abstract


Inhabited by migrant workers and diaspora farmers work according to the migrant workers living patterns of this group can be divided into two categories. The former group of migrant workers are usually together in the form of large-scale collective living life after a class of migrant workers scattered in urban communities , and urban residents live together . In this study, using a combination of questionnaires and in-depth interviews , to investigate the sub - groups of the two types of migrant workers in Changsha different settlement patterns integrate into contact with the city status , to that diaspora mode is more conducive to the integration of migrant workers into the city . Interpersonal and media use two study two types of farmers working sub- groups of information contact situation found , diaspora migrant workers the information contact situation better than inhabited by farmers work , specific performance : significant introversion inhabited by migrant workers of interpersonal exchanges and interpersonal object diaspora of migrant workers gradually extended to the outside groups , and more frequent interaction with city residents ; media use frequency diaspora of migrant workers was significantly higher than that inhabited by migrant workers and diaspora of migrant workers to accept a more open mind information spread by the mass media , and inhabited by migrant workers in the mass media use ambivalence , though they need the mass media to provide behavior guidelines , but filled with conflict psychologically urban values ??of the mass media for their edification .
