Abstract


With the rapid advance of the continuous development of China's modernization and urbanization , the urban fringe as the city expanded the forefront of facing the great challenges of sustainable development , the development and the protection of the urban fringe have become increasingly excited and exposed obviously, how space development strategy to guide the sound development of the urban fringe , solve and control the economic , social and environmental issues facing the edge of the area in the development process , has become a key point to achieve the sustainable development of the urban fringe . The goal of the spatial development strategy can guide the sustainable development of the urban fringe need a standard to evaluate , to improve and refine the strategic decision-making , and promote their sustainable goals . In this paper, the development of the sustainability of the strategy the principal contradiction space through the study of sustainable development of urban fringe , the introduction of a new concept of sustainable planning and evaluation criteria, expand the perspective of sustainable concern for urban fringe characteristics , values ??, combined with qualitative quantitative analysis method , mainly from three aspects of sustainable results of the implementation of sustainable and sustainable decision-making process of the space the sustainability of the development strategy to be evaluated , to try to establish a suitable for the development of sustainable urban fringe spatial development strategy evaluation system , and provide effective reference and recommendations for the development and formulation of future space development strategy of the urban fringe . This article select Xixi , Zhuantang the Binjiang three different case of the the Hangzhou urban fringe development case study , to evaluate the sustainability of their spatial development strategy and sum up experience , sustainable development for the future of Hangzhou urban fringe and the protection of the spatial development strategy for the sustainability of the proposed measures and recommendations .
