Abstract

In modern warfare , Modular Charge technology as a new concept of gun firing technology has become the trend of the development of large -caliber artillery . Plasma ignition with short ignition delay time , ignition reproducible , easy to eliminate the temperature sensitivity of the charge , can effectively increase the gas generation rate in the area of gun firing has gradually been applied . Modular Charge System , plasma ignition technology in artillery can give full play to their respective advantages , and optimize artillery ballistic performance . This paper studies the impact on of Modular Charge ballistic performance plasma ignition main tasks include (1 ) analysis of the application of plasma ignition module to Interior Ballistic process through appropriate simplification process , respectively before and after the module ruptured artillery ballistic process mathematical and physical model of a one-dimensional two-phase flow ; ( 2 ) selection of reasonable values ??calculated using the calculation program written in Fortran Numerical Simulation of Modular Charge trajectory model ; ( 3 ) of the numerical simulation results of a detailed analysis of the study plasma the body center fire ballistic performance of six modules and four modules congruent Modular Charge , and analyzed the plasma input energy size , the length of the plasma center tube , nozzle hole distance factor on the Modular Charge interior ballistic performance .
