Abstract


In the era of globalization , the security crisis generated by the traditional fossil energy shortage caused by the excessive consumption of energy is becoming increasingly severe adverse effects on the climate and the environment , has posed a direct threat to the enormous challenges of survival and development of human society . As the world's largest developed and developing countries , but also the world's largest energy consumption and greenhouse gas emitter , the United States and China in respective political agendas energy and the closely related to the environment and climate issues are put on the extremely important position . A long time , based on non-renewable fossil fuels as well as a high degree of dependence on imported oil , the two countries in the energy sector there is a certain degree of competition and game , the two sides in the interaction encountered some problems and challenges . However, if we look at and analyze the trend of Sino-US interaction in the energy field from the \covering both new meeting point of interest . Moreover, China and the United States in a variety of cooperation mechanisms continuously embedded in the national era of bilateral relations , including clean energy , energy efficiency , energy conservation, environmental protection more and more areas reached a common philosophy of cooperation . It is worth noting that , as energy cooperation is increasingly becoming the new issue of the Sino-US bilateral relations , China and the United States work together to address energy and environmental crisis for the international community on how to promote cooperation and jointly cope with the challenges of globalization provides a method and means .
