Objective: Mulao is a mountainous country less populous nation, is also one of the minorities in Guangxi unique three. \At present, for this particular ethnic populations lipid levels and hyperlipidemia prevalence has not yet understood. The purpose of this study is the local Han population Mulao and lipid levels, hyperlipidemia prevalence and risk factors for status inquiries. Methods: A stratified random cluster sampling method investigated 1,055 cases Mulao population demographics and medical history, etc., and this part of the population's blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, blood lipids and containing lipoprotein (Apo) were measured, and the results with 969 cases the results of the local Han population for comparison. Screening nine factors that may affect lipid metabolism as independent variables for hyperlipidemia prevalence of risk factors for non-conditional Logistic regression analysis. Results: Mulao crowd total cholesterol, triglycerides, LDL cholesterol and Apo B levels were significantly higher than the local Han population (respectively 5.05 ± 1.14 mmol / L ratio of 4.92 ± 0.97 mmol / L, 1.37 ± 0.89 mmol / L vs 1.34 ± 0.97 mmol / L, 2.98 ± 0.87 mmol / L ratio of 2.73 ± 0.79 mmol / L and 1.00 ± 0.54 ratio 0.91 ± 0.22 g / L, P lt; 0.05 ~ 0.001). While high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, Apo A1 and Apo A1/Apo B levels were significantly lower than the ratio of Han population (respectively 1.75 ± 0.45 mmol / L ratio of 1.90 ± 0.47 mmol / L, 1.33 ± 0.39 g / L ratio of 1.42 ± 0.21 g / L and 1.53 ± 0.63 ratio 1.64 ± 0.47, P lt; 0.001). Mulao crowd hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia prevalence rates were higher than the local Han population (44.5% vs 37.5%, χ2 = 10.479, P lt; 0.01 and 53.0% higher than 46.13%, χ2 = 9.496 , P lt; 0.01). Two ethnic groups the prevalence of hypertriglyceridemia was no significant difference (22.8% higher than 19.4%, χ2 = 3.583, P gt; 0.05). Mulao crowd hyperlipidemia prevalence with age, systolic blood pressure and BMI was a significant positive correlation (P lt; 0.05), Han population prevalence of hyperlipidemia and hypertension and BMI was significantly positively correlated (P lt ; 0.05). Conclusion: Guangxi Mulao crowd and local Han population lipid profile, hyperlipidemia prevalence and its risk factors exist obvious differences may be related to their eating habits, lifestyle and genetic factors related to the different.
