Abstract

The thesis first describes the phohetic system of a new discovered Daping dialect island in Yibin city Sichuan province.According to the field investigation and the method of description and records,literature。The author compares the phonetic systems with the middle ancient Chinese language.to describe the phonetic system of Dapin,Yibin.And compare the tone system of Dapin with the "Rhyme" sound system,Yibin city,Sichuan within the’Old Huguang words",to demonstrate the pronunciation of Dapin dialect,and explore the underlying of Daping dialect.The article first introduces the Nanxi county and the Daping’s geographical,administrative,and Organizational Evolution,and the significance of this dialect.Then tansferred from the rhyme,rhythm and other aspects of relationgs with the phonetic system Daping a detailed descripion,list the homophonic characters,analysis of the causes of an exception words,compared with the "Rhyme" system from the rhyme aspect,to explore the evolution law of Daping dialect.Compared the Daping dialect with YibinCity dialect,the "Old huguang words"representatives of dialect—Zhugao words and Yongxing words,to explore their similatities and differences,in order to explore the underlying of Daping dialect.Finally,according to the phonetic features and genealogy materials to speculated the residents and the formationg of dialect,determing the ownership of dialect.Totally,the Voiced Consonants have all disappeared,regadless平or仄,general reading unaspirated voiceless,different from the Southweistern Mandarin general characteristics,in same of Hunan province.The知庄章groups divided to two portiongs,have Retroflex, different from the Suthweistern Mandarin general characteristics,too.Some spoken common characters not palatalized which from见精groups,still read as openings.晓匣mixed with非groups in certain conditiongs.These characteristics carrids Hunan traces.The rhymes’ characteristics are as follows:ru-sheng coda disappeard,ru-sheng rhyme change into yin-sheng rhyme.The trend of yang-sheng rhyme was largely as follows:in the conditiong of the main vowel the same or similar, m→n→(?) then all the "m"change into "n",a part of "(?)" change into "n",led some yang-sheng rhyme words presented,regardless of the situation before and after the nasal.Daping dialect has four tones,the antient ru-sheng tones disappeared,ru-sheng classified Falling Tone.This article has on the basis of detailed investigation to Daping dianlect,focuses on the pronunciation system,and combined with related literature, to explore the underlying of Daping dialect, determing the ownership of dialect.This study procides a first-hand material to the. non-Southwest Mandarin studies and explore the relationship betwwen the Southwest Mandarin and non- Southwest Mandarin.From the phonetic features and related materials we know,Daping dialect belongs to Hunan-dialect in the history,but because of was surrounded by the strong dialect-Southwest Mandarin,now not only retained the characreristics of Hunan -dialect, have the trend to close the Southwest Mandarin.
