Abstract


Maritime transport has a long history to inextricably significant in relation to the development of the country . In order to master the law of motion of the ship and the ship driving skills , mankind has struggled for more than one century . Ship motion control development from manual to automatic , generation after generation of ship automation products continue to come . Performance of ship automation products are mainly determined by the performance of the controller , ship automation technology development, but also the performance of the control technology innovation . Ship autopilot design and development process , if a ship scale model test of the reasonableness of the control effectiveness of the algorithm and control system , you can ensure the safety of navigation , reduce energy consumption , but also can reduce the experiment of the real ship number of experimental costs , and to reduce the risk. This paper describes a model boat ship motion control system design , the ship motion control system used to control the ship scale model , instead of the real ship ship movement control test , the system can be broadly divided into upper machine and lower machine two section. Ship scale model is a physical basis , is also charged with the object , it reflects to some extent the prototype movement characteristics ; the lower machine implementing agencies , used to operate various devices on the scale model of the ship ; host computer running the control algorithm . Scale model ship design installed by the manufacturer , the above equipment steering gear , propeller and head , otherwise heading sensor and GPS receiver provides heading and positioning information ; under -bit machine is installed in the middle of the ship scale model , the core is a STC12C5A60S2 microcontroller ( the main MCU ) and a STC12C2052 ( as a single-chip microcontroller ) , another peripheral circuit of the analog-to-digital conversion , digital-to-analog conversion , level conversion ; the host computer laptop placed on the shore with a right of the scale model of the RF transceiver and ship for wireless communications. Scale model of the ship on July 13, 2009 in the heart of the sea of Dalian Maritime University Lake water experiments , successful implementation of the control of course , comply with the design requirements .
