Abstract


Network development so far, the gateway is no longer wholly owned by a traditional sense for the network hardware, as long as able to use different formats, communication protocols or the structure of the two systems, seamless integration of hardware and software smooth connected entities may be called the gateway.Embedded linux with open source, stable and efficient kernel, software-rich and other advantages, use it to achieve the gateway function is a low-cost option.This article discusses the 32-bit embedded systems to achieve the gateway function, using the embedded operating system with TCP/IP protocol stack, by writing the application for the gateway, the gateway can put the different data unification at the same kind of agreement or standard, as well as carry out the communication between floor data and the Internet server.This dissertation first introduced the definition of embedded systems, and a number of the relevant knowledge about Embedded linux.On this basis, given the overall implementation of embedded gateway hardware, programs, and linux embedded system implementation in hardware.Subsequent development of applications used in a variety of software tools, including compiler, debugger, editor and project manager and made a brief introduction and gives a development environment set up and the software development process.In the fifth chapter describes the TCP network communication architecture and data and encapsulation process in TCP/IP model, then a further analysis of the hierarchical structure of embedded linux for network and communication theory, and a overview of the socket knowledge used in this article in the design of the gateway. The final chapter of this article analyzes the development environment to achieve the gateway configuration when a series of configuration questions and related test methods, and then block diagram form the main program is given the realization of the gateway program (including client and server), and finally debugging a good application programming to the development board (gateway).And give a running application under typical operation mode of the interface.
