Abstract


Access to the information society, science and technology develop rapidly. All kinds of new communication carriers emerging, awareness of people’s exchanges and communication in general has been strengthened. All kinds of exhibition activities are no longer satisfied in the past that a single carrier to the works on display the information transfer mode, hoping exhibition designers can explore the potential of design objects in dissemination and exchange of information, using effective design methods to improve the information transfer and exchange in quality and quantity, in order to better serve all kinds of MICE activities.Conforming to modern design in the environment, objects, factors such as more and more complicated constraints and limited circumstance, system design is based on the system ideas and opinions which have universal significance of modern scientific research. Always starting from the system’s integrity and interrelationship to research the design objects and related problems, system design put the objects in the form of system so as to achieve the optimal in overall design objective and the optimal of the way to achieve this objective. It has a significant guiding and application value in modern exhibition design. This essay applies idea of system design to exhibition design, taking exhibition design process as an organic whole which is formed by many elements, putting exhibition design to“system”form. By studying the systematic elements in exhibition design and explore its the mechanisms underlying its development impact, this essay determines to find ways of systematic exhibition design which could be the basis and guidance of systematic exhibition design and to establish methods for exhibition design system analysis - system design - system integration.Connecting to the research and analysis of exhibition design before as well as the thinking and summary in practice, this paper deconstructs and integrates exhibition design with systematic design idea in full multi-angle, then get the clue and framework of the entire systematic exhibition design for the design and implementation guidance. Systematic exhibition design in this paper will inspire the exhibition activities and the development of exhibition industry in future and has practical reference value to enhance the economic and social benefits of exhibition industry.
