Abstract


With the theme of“better city, better life”,The World Expo 2010 will be held at Shanghai on May 1,2010. Then the world’s attention will focus on China. During the exhibition which lasts for 184 days, the "Better City, Better Life" theme will fully display the city’s discovery, exchange experiences of urban development and disseminate the development conception of advanced city. It is really a wonderful opportunity for us to visit the Shanghai World Expo.We can see the world brilliant civilization, and feel the charm of technology.Only the World Expo can make us feel theGrand meeting of "display and exchange different periods of human civilization achievements".Expo is a pioneer of modern exposition.It highlights the diversity system of human civilization instead of unity one.Its classification system experiences the exhibition time to classification time.The display mode undergone the single display mode to the experience way.Behind these changes, it is due to people’s changing ideas about human civilization, and the power from changing in the structure of social production and social development needs.The certainty of the Expo theme, the uncertainty of exhibition content, and the artistic quality of interpretation, all of these improve the ability of imagination and creativity of the host country.At the same time,the theme deduction, which is closely related to the Expo theme, become more and more important too.It not only make the organizers focus on the theme and content of planning, but also enriched the contents of various display elements which are launched under the theme.After all, the theme is the soul of Expo. Theme deduction is a system.It runs through the framework and content of Expo,and give direction during the process. Theme deduction is the key to a successful exposition.
