Abstract


This article uses the 2003 General Social Survey data , described in the Chinese cities of different sizes , different nature of the enterprise employees' income differences in structure , and analyzed how firm characteristics affect income inequality . Structure theory and institutional theory , this paper proposed the employees income differences between enterprises obtained by this particular social group differences in the ability of the interests of the Group , as well as employees' income difference comes from the human capital in different enterprises distinguish between two theoretical assumptions , and through the establishment of a regression model to be tested . The analysis results show that the enterprise is really specific cause important structural factors of urban residents' income differences , different income levels of employees with different characteristics such as the size and nature of the enterprise , state-owned enterprises , and large-scale enterprise employees is relatively high income levels , and this difference is caused by Group differences between enterprises , different types of enterprises not significant differences in the rate of return for human capital . Therefore, we believe that in the Stratification future , should pay attention to the difference between the corporate hierarchy .
