Abstract


Employment is the basement of the livelihood issues. With accelerate reform and economic development, Employment relationship has been a more and more important problem related to the people’s livelihood and the national stability. Since the reform and opening up, both the economic growth speed and GDP of Shandong have been in the forefront of our country compared to other provinces’level. The development model of industrial structure in Shandong is accordant with basic principles and thought of the market economy law. However, the meandering of the employment structure has seriously fallen behind the adjustment of industrial structure. So it is meaningful to Shandong to found a path to expand employment through the analysis of industrial and employment structures.The thesis is divided into five parts. In the first part, the author introduces the background and methods. The second part is about relative achievements and theories. In the third part, the author analyses the present situation and development trend in industrial and employment structures of Shandong province since the reform and opening up. The forth part is the most important part among the whole thesis, in which the author has used the structural deviation degree and SPSS software to quantitative analysis of industrial structure to the employment structure influence. And taking the production point of view and the employment elasticity of the calculation into consideration, the author has got a conclusion that three industries in Shandong province bring different effects to the number of employment. In the last part, on analysis of the relationship between industrial structure and employment structure, the author has found out that the path to employment expansion in Shandong province is of practical significance from the perspective of the industrial structure, and giving advice from four angle such as the industrial and human capital and economic policies to solve the employment issue.
