Abstract


The modern information technology including computer and network applicated in the archival profession , has taken profound transformation to the archival profession . The traditional archival profession is faced with uninterrupted impact, as well as it get the chance to realize great-leap-forward development, but difficulties is the majority in the overall. Therefore, carrying out a in-depth study on the influence of information era on archival profession and the corresponding strategies ,has important significance to the fundamental research and the development of the practice of archival profession This paper applies the research methods of system, comparison, document analysis and others, analyzes and summarizes the current research on archival profession home and abroad, discusses the content and the key elements of the file occupation, analyzes in depth the influence of information era on every integrant part of archival profession, proposes corresponding strategies of archival profession from various angles, in order to promote the healthy development of archival profession in information era. The main research results are: 1. this paper divides the research of archival profession into some basic issues, cards and criticizes the current research of these questions; points out that there are defects such as the study of archival profession is not deep, systematic and comprehensive enough. 2. According to different responsibilities , tasks and according different character, this paper respectively discusses the file occupation. 3. discusses the influence of information era on the file occupation’s object elements . 4. discusses the influence of information era on the file occupation’s main elements. 5. discusses the influence of information era on the file occupation’s conditions of the specific elements. 6. puts forward corresponding strategies of archival profession from subject, object and conditional angles to solve the problems that information era has taken to archival profession. Finally, the paper considers through our joint efforts from all sectors of society and archives of professional subject’s continuous innovation, our archives profession must be able to hold this golden opportunity, and realize the great-leap-forward development.
