Abstract


Continuously push forward with the process of urbanization in China, the existing urban road resources can not meet the demand of the surge in private traffic, causing urban traffic congestion, traffic climbed a series of social problems such as noise and air pollution. The main measures to resolve this contradiction is to give priority to the development of public transport, attract more passengers bus travel. But a lower level of public transport services in most cities in China, passengers access to the contents of the traffic information and limited, resulting in public transport share rate is not high. Therefore it is necessary to improve urban public transport information service levels to attract more travelers to choose the bus travel. This article is based on choice behavior of traffic information services for public transport travelers investigation and analysis, to explore the impact of the traveler traffic information service selected mechanism, targeted recommendations on improvement measures to improve public transport information service levels. Public transport traveler information service choice behavior studied from two aspects: first, what factors affect the choice of public transport trip traffic information? Second, what factors affect the choice of public transport trip traffic information services media? Through The above two propositions, the clear urban public transport information service object as well as information effective way. This article first by the statistics of the questionnaire analyzed qualitatively clear choice behavior influencing factors of public transport travelers traffic information; followed by the use of factor analysis to the 14 classes of traffic information in accordance with the correlation between the size of public transport time information, in turn divided into city roads The four categories of information, leisure activities, information and other status information, the city positioning guide; Finally Binary Logistic model traffic information service on public transport trips to select influential factors, such as information content, travel by personal attributes for quantitative analysis. The study shows that the traffic information of the public transport travelers choose different personal attributes, information service characteristics and other factors, there are larger differences in choice behavior on public transport travelers traffic information, traffic information content there are varying degrees of impact, out of Walker's career as well as traffic information content significantly impact the choice of travelers on the traffic information services media. Results of standardized construction of urban public transport information service system has some significance, reasonable and effective public transport information service system, to provide comprehensive traffic information to the urban public transport travel by distinguishing the characteristics of refinement travel, construction, and can promote rational allocation of resources in urban traffic, and thus enhance the overall operation of the public transport system capacity and service level.
