Abstract


Alice Walker is one of the most famous black women writers of the history of American literature since the 1970s. She is a prolific writer, whose major works include fiction, poetry, a collection of essays, in 1982, she published the novel \Novel in the United States has brought her great honor, for which she won the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award. The novel also in 1984 by director Steven Spielberg adapted into a movie, Alice Walker, brings the world honor. She also pioneered a new term \This thesis, starting from the point of view of womanism and sisterhood, about Xili awakening process, \new image of women. Alice Walker novel embodies the ideology of women and stressed the important role played by the Sisterhood Xili awakening process.
