E-commerce, based on Internet/Intranet, is a new business model taking both the buyer and the seller as its subject, bank payment and settlement as a means and supported by the customer database. As a global trend of economic development, E-commerce will become the basic form of trade in 21st century. Adopting e-commerce, Enterprises can significantly reduce costs, thereby improve enterprise efficiency, extended enterprise customer platform that frees business from geographic restrictions, and to win more customers.In this paper, based on the retrospective survey study of the present status of the building materials and home-improvement furnishings industry and the actual demand of online shopping mall, the online sales system is designed. The system shares the common functions of the usual online sales system such as commodity display, shopping cart, registration and login, order inquiries, user information management, product management, order management and other functions. Meanwhile, it also has the ability of multi-conditioned query, the latest, suggested and hot selling commodities display, like commodities comparison, commodity association, virtual house decoration, business inquirement and those can enhance the feasibility and humanity of the system.The detailed designs of shopping cart, like commodities comparison, and virtual house decoration, which are the major functional models of the system, have been mentioned in this paper.This system running under a reliable and high efficient hardware and software environment, is based on.NET framework, adopts multiple key technologies and tools such as Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET 2.0+IIS 6.0, ADO.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, C#, and some other techniques like XML, component technology, WCF, AJAX, to set up the foreground and background system. The system uses B/S as its model, in which a data process dier is separated from the 3-tier structure designed in order to support much more encapsulation for the database operations during implementing. The model has Low coupling and flexible scalability.The security of electronic commerce consists of network security and business transaction security. On this basis, this paper discusses a security solution of layers includes network layer, software layer and application layer, and gives a detailed description of the encryption and decryption system for data transmission.Actual running and testing of the system shows that it has reasonable structures, complete functions, friendly interfaces, and is easy to operate and runs stably and reliably, and it meets the demand of enterprises for online sales. The system is ready for use, and believing it that with the development of.NET technology, the application will be more and more popular.
