Abstract


XML technology from the date it launched indicates that there will be a bright future , especially with the recent years the rapid development of Web Service , XML and more frequently appear in the data exchange and storage areas , how to efficiently store and manage vast amounts of XML data has become a serious problem . The query processing XML data storage and management research in the field , and how to establish appropriate index XML data has become the key to the XML database technology . This paper analyzes the XML data indexing strategies and index features , on the basis of in -depth study of XML data storage and management , combined with the technical characteristics of the Internet search engine the inverted index improved the structure of the query and search engine technology phase a combination of methods to create a combined joint structure indexing and full-text indexing indexing technology . Wherein a suitable coding scheme is based on the B tree for indexing and use B tree as a node of the XML data processed through a special coding to create the structure index . For the text content of the XML elements , using traditional search engine inverted index for XML data nodes to establish a full-text index . In this paper, a node in the XML document tree coding , index structures , query processing has done a corresponding improvement and innovation . Simple query , query processing , query and a variety of complex queries typical . Experiments to verify the effect of the index XML data query processing , structure indexing and full-text indexing tests for different data sources , and path expression in specific XML data sets a simple query , complex queries based on keyword full-text search experiments , and finally come to the conclusion based on experimental data , the index in the XML path expressions and keyword-based query has a good effect . \
