Abstract


Folk paper-cut art in our country has a rich cultural connotations, is an important representative of one of folk art . From the basic necessities of the people , rituals , beliefs, customs, taboos and festive social life are able to see the traces of paper-cut , reflecting the art of working people living in the most simple language of art and artistic ideas . On the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi folk paper-cut paper-cut folk art is an important part of northern Shaanxi folk art embodies the cultural identity of the local regional and ideological connotations. The shape and aesthetic , northern Shaanxi folk paper-cut creations from the original purpose practicality gradually transformed into a combination of practical and aesthetic . Northern folk paper-cut is a \Northern people can reflect a national character , the spirit of the times and social thought. This paper-cut art forms from northern Shaanxi , features, styling and connotation , trying to depart from the northern economic development , design development in Northern seek cultural connotations.
