Abstract


Historically cultural theme park is a new sightseeing site generated when the amusement park combines with historically culture at a certain stage.It has deep historically cultural details.So the value of historically cultural theme park can be reflected not only in the recreational facilities and the infrastructures in existence,but also in the peculiar culture it has.Throughout most of the theme parks at home and abroad,there are problems either "at beginning profit,but closedown in the end" or poor management、low rate of re-visit existing.The same to historically cultural theme park.Faced with these problems and challenges,how to develop and manage the historically cultural theme park rationally,to reserve the diversity of historical culture,is the crucial thing to do.Before the protection activities in historically cultural theme park,the evaluation of its value is the basic problem to resolve for the community. In fact, historically cultural theme park is "tourism activation" of traditional culture.It turns its feature into modern tourism,which not only has historically cultural charm but also has some characteristics of modern tourism.So the value of its resources should be assessed for further rational development and utilization.Based on the characteristics of value realization of historically cultural theme park, at the angle of environment and resource of economics, taking Tang Paradise of Xi’an for example,the research divides the value of its recreational resources into two parts:use value and non-use value.The use value also divides into the value for research、education and recreation.But the recreational use value is the main use value of Tang paradise from it begins,so we just evaluate the recreational use value in the paper with TCM. The non-use value also divides into exist,heritage and choice.we evaluate it with CVM.Based on the data of survey and questionaries in Tang Paradise which was conducted from May to July and the whole October in 2009,using the TCM to evaluate the domestic recreational use value of Tang Paradise,it reveals that it is worthy of 13.38 billion RMB in 2009,682.65 RMB per person;about 5.59 billion RMB total travel cost,7.79 billion RMB customer surplus.Compared with other related case studies,it can be discovered that the estimated outcome of use value almost conforms to reality,which can reflect the real domestic recreational use value of Tang Paradise.In the light of collecting the data in CV diagram,using the CVM to evaluate the non-use value of Tang Paradise,it shows different results when different people samples are taken.But the non-use value of Tang Paradise is evaluated to be probably between 1.6866 billion to 59.458 billion yuan.It shows that Tang Paradise has deeper potential for development.Along with the evaluation,based on the interviews of tourists and managers in Tang Paradise,the research summarizes the problems that exsit in the development and management of Tang Paradise,such as poor management、poor ecological environment、poor experiential tourism products.Then,Combined with the evaluation results above,aiming for these problems,further development strategies are given in th paper.
