Abstract


With the rapid development of the business of eChinaChem, Inc., the number of the company’s business sites and sub-sites is increasing. Besides, with the core concept of service extension, the company provides service customization to memberships in order to expend service method and scale of information. However, the original system and management method leads to heavy workload, low work efficiency and lots of mistakes, and was no longer able to meet the demand of company development. In that case, it’s urgently to setup a Content Management System, which is able to manage various websites and information, to provide service for membership, to provide a convenient and rapid maintenance function. At the same time, the system is required to have the flexibility of expansion for the rapid business development.With the background of this Content Management System development project, the status and issues of eChinaChem business requirement are indicated at the beginning, and the necessarily of a new system based on mojoPortal is demonstrated. Then business requirements and system functions are discussed, and website group management and service customization procedures are finalized. Secondly, system architecture is analyzed, and system is designed with modularization. The core subsystem, such as website group management system and service management system are designed in detail. Thereinto, implementation of the objects of website group and service customization management are mainly discussed based on mojoPortal and ASP.NET Lifecycle. Finally, the system design, expansion and further application are performed.
