Abstract


The whole world is pursuing green and sustainable development. China is looking for sustainable development, too. Every company is hunting new ways doing ecodesign to meet rules and to save costs. Big companies have enough resource doing research for several years, and they can endure certain failures. Middle and small sized companies lack resource to do research and endure failure.Through investigation of several European large companies’ ecodesign development process, I found that large enterprises need a lot of manpower, material and financial resources developing their ecoproducts . In small and medium sized enterprises, due to lack of resources, give a bright future to tertiary industry of ecodesign. The traditional development process makes example for the development of ecodesign, through concurrent development and normal development, the corresponding green development process came into meeting the different development needs for small and medium enterprises.Tertiarization of ecodesign means opening company focusing on research process of ecodesign. Its customers are middle and small sized companies and the ecodesign company supports the customers with highly efficient process research service, and helps them develop the eco-products and eco-process. It can save money and resources for company customers.Tertiarized ecodesign company’s advantage is the development experience and perfect database management. Ecodesign company is independent of its customers and will keep secret of the whole process. It has unique management of participants during the concurrent engineering product development process and has unique analyzing tools during different process, like LCA, DFX and so on.Through market environment analysis, case studies, methods of induction and summary, the tertiary industry of ecodesign can be found in line with the world’s development needs, and has great market potential. The tertiary industry of green design is feasible with the conclusion of management and analysis system in this paper.
