ObjectAnalysis and explore the clinical feature of hepatic Mesenchymal hamartoma as well as its’diagnosis and treatment.MethodsIn retrospective analysis of our hospital 2 adult mesenchymal hamartoma of the liver in patient cases’ clinical data, diagnosis and treatment process as well as 45 cases reported in the domestic and foreign documents.Results47 adult patients aged 19 to 76 years were identified, with a diagnosis of mesenchymal hamartoma of the liver. There was a female predominance72.3%(34/13), and more common in young women, nearly half of the patients presented with first symptom of abdominal pain(23/47), Tumor marker AFP is not high,45% are located at the right lobe of liver (21/47),40% are located at the left implicate the lobe(19/47), 15% involving the both lobe (7/47); The tumour is usually large, approximately 64% are the cystic tumor (30/47), approximately 36% are the solid tumor (17/47).ConclusionHepatic mesenchymal hamartoma is a rarely occurred benign liver tumors, and the cases is extraordinarily rare in adults.In adults cases, more females than males,and the disease is more common in young women, abdominal dull pain is the most common clinical manifestations, can occur in any part of the liver, this tumour was also unusual in being solid, as the majority of these tumours are cystic. It is difficult in making a preoperative definite diagnosis, imageology examination is helpful in diagnosis. Currently, operation is the most favorable treatment available and as early as possible to perform the regular hepatectomy is preferred, postoperative prognosis is good.
