Abstract

Medical image processing is an important technology for secondary clinical diagnosis is the image visual processing method , therefore , gradually become a hot topic in recent years . For spinal magnetic resonance image surface reconstruction , the the crucial clinical value of clinical research in computer-aided information to identify and spine pathology . If the spine is not correctly positioned and surface reconstruction , the clinical value of using computer description will be limited . The traditional time-consuming for the positioning of the entire spine will make it difficult to accept . Therefore , the computer automatically positioning the split disc aided diagnosis has important clinical value . The quantitative analysis of the entire spine magnetic resonance image , the the original sagittal image reconstruction to the coronal plane and synthetic water , fat image to position themselves accurately and effectively eliminate the positioning of scoliosis . Fitting positioning based on the spinal centerline and the establishment of the measuring point set , the application of the the MC algorithm output triangular mesh model reconstructed spine center surfaces . Spine image database provided by the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine NMR experiments prove that the above algorithm is accurate and effective .
