Abstract


With the rapid development of science and technology , reverse engineering (RE) This kind sample through modern 3D digitizing equipment to get the three-dimensional geometry of the sample information and re- constitute the CAD surface models and solid models , and as a advanced products based on processing technology has been widely used in various industries in the manufacturing field , become an important means to absorb and utilize a variety of advanced technology . Reverse engineering applications not only improve the accuracy of the product design and manufacturing , and shorten the the trial product cycle , reduce production costs .
