Abstract


The workflow concept originated in the organization of production and the field of office automation , it has a fixed program of activities for the day-to-day work and proposed a concept . Workflow process management , coordination and management of information and human resources , so that the business performed in accordance with the process in order to achieve business process automation . The workflow engine is the core of the workflow management system , it provides the runtime environment for workflow instance . Lightweight workflow engine is enough , flexible and cost - effective design principles , not the pursuit of the functionality of workflow engine complete and complex , just one of the essential features and characteristics , which can reduce software development and maintenance costs. A unit logging data interpretation process flow for the application , on the basis of in-depth study of workflow technology , starting from the lightweight and flexibility , a lightweight workflow engine is designed and implemented , and applied to the log interpretation production monitoring system . The main work of the paper include : ( 1 ) study the reference model of workflow , process definition meta-model of the Workflow Management Coalition (WFMC) ; discuss a workflow management system should have features and implementations . ( 2 ) to establish a certain versatility , Web-oriented workflow management model WOWFM of the workflow customization and workflow engine design and implementation . (3) the study is applied to the log interpretation production monitoring and management system development , given the overall design of the system , discussed in detail the specific implementation of the system .
