Abstract


In the field of statistics , sampling technology is already quite mature , but in the field of data mining , sampling techniques apparently did not get the status it deserves . Although some scholars have proposed parallel algorithm on very large data sets or sub- block processing may be more effective than using sampling techniques to improve the efficiency of data mining , but found that this practice process for medium orders of magnitude ( tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of orders of magnitude ) in the data set , sampling technology has the incomparable advantage of other technologies - speed , high accuracy , easy to implement . After all, the practical application is different from the scientific research , how fast , easy and accurate data analysis for auxiliary mining results related decision making is the ultimate goal , the place outside the mining laboratory layout complex operational analysis the environment is not worth the candle . In order to further study the feasibility of the application of sampling techniques in data mining , expand from theoretical arguments and empirical studies two aspects . Theoretical aspects: knowledge discovery database process to make a comprehensive and scientific definition ; summarizes the current sampling techniques widely used in the field of data mining ; the summarized data mining , the most important of the three mining method , and the current sampling techniques and the combination of data mining system ; proposed two new methods - static sampling methods improved and improved dynamic sampling method of sampling techniques in data mining . Positive aspects : listed based sampling techniques of data mining methods in finance, insurance , retail , manufacturing industry , using actual data for the theoretical part of the new method to do the necessary testing , sampling study to compare method in the changes before and after improvement performance . This paper innovative work as follows : ( 1) static sampling algorithm to achieve improved practice , and put forward the idea of improved dynamic sampling algorithm . (2) the introduction of improved sampling techniques classification, association, clustering three mining task , write the corresponding algorithm to be implemented in the data mining software , and the results were analyzed . ( 3) the assessment of a new association rule mining method , and the assessment method .
