Abstract


In recent years, China's commercial banks were a great and profound changes, initially completed the expansion of the reform of the system of asset size. However, commercial banks have not fully completed the fundamental changes of the management mechanism and mode of development, coordinated and healthy development on the scale, speed, quality, and effectiveness of a unified foundation this goal has not been achieved. Commercial banks in China, compared with developed countries banks, commercial banks in China in various aspects of many deficiencies, still has many problems in the operation and management inefficiencies, high proportion of non-performing assets. Truly become the world's advanced management in order to better respond to the challenges brought by the international state-of-the-art commercial banks of China's banking industry, based on effective control of business risks and constantly optimize the quality of assets, based on the bigger strive stronger system and the international competitiveness of the commercial banks to establish a scientific and effective management mechanism is the first step in China's commercial banks to improve their strength. It is in this economic environment, the EVA value management tool is introduced to the operation and management of a modern commercial bank. Improve the corporate governance structure and standardize the operational mechanism should actively learn from the foreign commercial banks advanced EVA evaluation theory and methods, the ability to continuously improve their management efficiency and value creation. Therefore, how to correctly understand and use the EVA management indicators so naturally he became a required course management system in China's commercial banks. Commercial banks EVA biggest difference is that the introduction of the concept of the cost of capital. EVA prompted the company managers concerned about the company's cost of capital planning company, its implementation is not only multi calculating profits net of a cost, integrated financial management system the EVA management framework under the guidance each decisions. EVA is still a very important employees incentives to key metrics in the system, the first real interests of managers and shareholders' interests to unify. The main purpose of this study is to value management system in China's commercial banks EVA pointed out the problems of our current EVA management system. And to study the problems of the various factors, proposed as the basis for the proposed below Countermeasures and theoretical basis. Provide some feasible suggestions to improve the management system for commercial banks is the ultimate purpose of this article. Forth, provide a theoretical basis for commercial banks to improve the management and direction of guidance. This paper through the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to be discussed. EVA and its related conceptual issues, combined with the analysis of the case of China Merchants Bank, in order to achieve the purpose of problem-solving. On the end of this article that China's commercial banks from management attaches great importance to the the EVA valuation system, EVA can fully play its role. In addition, China's commercial banks in order to have a larger improvement in EVA must attach importance to the management of capital, the rational allocation of resources, the effectiveness of the principle of maximum. This paper will be mainly from the following discusses: First, the cost of capital is the important role of the EVA management system, pointing out the problems in today's applications, and on this basis the perfect improvements. Second, China Merchants Bank for sample case studies using the latest data. Calculated on the basis of the original formula, and some projects have been adjusted to better reflect the real situation of EVA. Countermeasures and suggestions in the perfect commercial banks EVA management system to highlight the importance of the economic capital, as well as from what is working to improve.
