Abstract


The short text refers to the length is shorter , usually not more than 100 characters , the text contents refining cohesive , for example , news headlines and mobile phone text messages are typically short text . Due to the emergence of the mass of information resources , manually manage increasingly unrealistic . The classification can solve a certain extent the phenomenon of online information clutter , to facilitate the users to accurately locate the necessary information and triage information , text classification helps users to read and deal with the massive text . Short text classification and text categorization are very different article will focus on the special nature of the short text , the short text classification algorithm . The headlines and SMS two typical short text will serve as the focus of this study . In -depth analysis of the short text - specific law and related fields , the paper will include based short text multi- classification and a classification algorithm . This article will be a short text to determine the classification criteria classified as application background , the use of word frequency statistics, while taking advantage of the short text classification technique based on support vector machine (SVM) to evaluate the relationship of short text category based on statistical methods .
