Abstract

In recent years, with the rapid development of wireless communication technology , the increasingly strong demand for audio and video multimedia communications . The multi-hop access network, the distance between nodes can be shortened to improve network coverage . Wireless video transmission in multi-hop environment has become one of the hot spots of the current study . Wireless channel is unreliable , limited bandwidth , conflict, inter-user interference , signal fading is very serious , the traditional structure of the OSI seven-layer protocol for wireless networks with non- optimal and non- flexibility , so you can cross-layer design to improve network performance . Unlike other multi-hop environment , the WBAN battery energy is very limited , the node transmission power is limited , due to the presence of the human body to cause the channel complex and changing , it is necessary to conduct research for the the WBAN environment cross-layer optimization video transmission . This paper studies the wireless network cross-layer modeling method , and then were cross-layer design model for wireless mesh networks and multi-hop cellular network , combined with a WBAN channel power is limited and time-varying dramatic feature model correction consider ; Next WBAN channel characteristics is proposed on the basis of a Markov model to study the H.264 stream transmission performance in single-hop and multi- jumping and a cross-layer design and scheduling program . Design the hardware implementation of the platform , including program selection, chip selection and circuit module design , implementation and optimization of the H.264 video codec and the ADSP-BF561 chip . Finally, the current video transmission system framework further optimized design considerations , has made ??a good attempt to improve the frame structure and design of energy efficient routing protocols .
