Abstract


More than 30 years for the business community is a vibrant period of time. Technological progress, economic globalization, mergers and acquisitions wave of unprecedented fierce competition between enterprises. Many state-of-the-art enterprise organizations aware of the change and make a variety of different reactions. In such a situation, the original scattered, small organizational model increasingly highlight the disadvantages: diseconomies of scale, a lot of duplication of effort and waste of resources, recessive joint costs, uncoordinated and inefficient. This is a new management philosophy and organizational forms soon urgent requirement. So, shared services came into being. Shared Services is an advanced form of organization and management in the era of economic globalization context. Shared services based on state-of-the-art modern technology will be scattered in various regions of the organizations of the non-core sector, the duplicated functions integrated into a centralized location, in theory, can bring a range of advantages: 1) streamline the organization and cost savings ; 2) to achieve economies of scale; 3) to strengthen supervision, improve management efficiency; 4) release of resources and energy on its core business; 5) enhance organizational flexibility, reduce the expansion and restructuring costs. Shared services model since the 1980s was born, has experienced 30 years of development, is widely used among large multinational companies. The past decade, multinational optimistic about the prospects of the Chinese market, have chosen to set up regional headquarters and shared service centers in China, which is the most common financial shared services center. Although there are many success stories, however, not all of the financial shared service centers can achieve the stated objectives, the operation of the center even still inefficient. Therefore, we hope through elaborate theoretical knowledge shared services and operational details of the dynamic observation of A Chinese financial shared service center and describe, analyze and explore the underlying causes of inefficient summarized improve financial shared service center effect ways and means. The paper is divided into six chapters: Chapter 1 Introduction. This chapter focuses on the topics of the background of this thesis, the main contents of the purpose and significance of the research as well as research and demonstration. Chapter 2 Overview of Financial Shared Services. This chapter is divided into two levels: Shared Services Financial Shared Services. Shared Services: introduces the background of shared services, theoretical foundation, basic characteristics, scope of application, mode of operation and application status; Financial Shared Services: introduces financial shared service center business, the implementation of significance, advantages and disadvantages compared with traditional financial , as well as financial shared service center building process. Chapter 3 A Chinese financial shared service center highlights. The main contents include the operating status of the Company A and Company A Financial Shared Services fact sheets, described the status quo and development trend. 4/5 of these two chapters is the focus of this article chapter, mainly in terms of corporate culture, organizational management, customer management, process management, technology applications dynamic description and analysis of the operational details of Company A financial shared service center and proposed improved scheme, which reveals the key to success of multinational financial shared service centers operating in China. Summary of Chapter 6. This chapter focuses on the entire paper to collate and summarize the formulation of this innovation. Shared services applied research in China has just begun, and are mainly related to the theory of shared service centers to promote and planning and design, few research and answers on the question of the actual operation of the center. Therefore, I hope this article has brought more or less to the multinational financial shared service center is facing a problem of inefficient reference.
