Pingdingshan City is a newly industrialized cities , has been associated with the development and utilization of natural resources and development is an important energy and raw material base , and made ??a significant contribution to the national economy and social development . Due to resource depletion , industrial restructuring , changes in market demand and other issues , Pingdingshan facing the dual challenge of resource depletion and sustainable urban development . The theory of sustainable development , sustainable urban development theory and the theory of circular economy on the classic by recycling economy and achieve sustainable development of the case have also been lessons learned , through the combination of theory and case in the Pingdingshan sustainable development model of Pingdingshan City, the sustainable development of the basic situation analysis are summarized from the three levels of the enterprise , industry , regional building and put forward policy recommendations to promote the sustainable development of Pingdingshan City , to promote Pingdingshan City sustainable economic development , and hope to play a guidance and reference for the future sustainable development of resource-based cities practice .
