Abstract


Investment in science and technology plays a vital role in economic growth, investment in science and technology is a necessary condition of scientific and technological progress, in the case of limited resources, scientific and technological progress is the key to the transformation of economic growth mode. Many countries and regions will be placed in priority to the development of the strategic position of science and technology, China also proposed to accelerate the construction of independent innovation-oriented country, the transformation of economic growth mode. Shaanxi Province as the country's famous University of Science and Technology province, the economic strength is far below the national average, and thus mismatch between the Shaanxi science and technology investment and economic growth. Shaanxi science and technology investment and economic growth, the use of empirical and normative, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to explore the history and logic of combining the mechanism of action of the mutual promotion of investment in science and technology and economic growth, empirical analysis science and technology investment and economic growth in the gray relative correlation, further research from the perspective of efficiency the Shaanxi the relative efficiency of investment in science and technology and the relationship of economic growth, in order to come to the mode of economic growth in Shaanxi. Specifically, this study has the following parts: The first part is a theoretical study of the investment in science and technology and economic growth, to provide a theoretical basis for investment in science and technology to promote economic growth mechanism of action by analyzing the role of investment in science and technology in economic growth. The second part is the mechanism of action of scientific research, investment and economic growth, investment in science and technology to promote economic growth pathway, to provide a theoretical basis for a reasonable increase in investment in science and technology and adjust the investment structure. The third part is the analysis of of Shaanxi investment in science and technology and economic growth in the status quo, and to explore the specific reasons for the lack of co-ordination of investment in science and technology and economic growth. The fourth part from a quantitative point of view, the use of gray relative correlation method empirical analysis of the relationship between science and technology investment and economic growth in Shaanxi, using data envelopment analysis Empirical Analysis of the relative efficiency of investment in science and technology in Shaanxi, and the relationship between research and economic growth. Above research, the main conclusions of this paper are: Shaanxi science and technology investment in RD funding to economic growth, compared to the greater scientific and technological activities, we must increase the RD funding. Technology Input and output relatively low efficiency, but also makes Shaanxi's economic growth to rely more on elements contribute to the achievement, not conducive to economic sustainable development.
