Abstract


Benxi group is one of the important production layer to extend the Southern Gas reservoir characteristics and gas accumulation relationship further exploration of great significance to study the area and basin natural gas . On the basis of previous studies of sedimentology , reservoir geology, geology of natural gas , oil and gas reservoir geology , logging geology theory, collection and utilization of geological logging of 54 wells in this area , logging data , as well as all the physical properties of rock thin section analysis , scanning electron microscopy , mercury , gas test , in Benxi Formation sedimentary characteristics , diagenesis and reservoir properties of microscopic pore structure , heterogeneity and other aspects of research based on the overall classification of the reservoir , and analysis of the pros and cons of the controlling factors of reservoir , reservoir characteristics and gas eNRICHMENT . Benxi Formation of this area is a barrier island of terrigenous clastic coastal sedimentary systems - tidal flat deposits , the reservoir is mainly quartz sandstone barrier island . Compaction, pressure solution, the role of cementation on the pore development plays a destructive role , dissolution plays the role of the porosity increases . Mainly belong to low - special low porosity , low - ultra-low permeability reservoir pore types intergranular pores , intragranular dissolution pores , intergranular holes and cement dissolution pores . Porosity and permeability exists a positive correlation between changes in the permeability to some extent by the impact of the pore development control . Reservoir properties both in the vertical plane change differences are large, strong heterogeneity of the reservoir . Analysis of reservoir sedimentary thickness is enriched gas reservoir controlling factors largely determine the physical properties of good and bad and gas reservoir capacity size , Benxi Formation further exploration of natural gas as the main objective should be to look for the large and medium - sized barrier island .
