Abstract


Forest Certification Commission proposed the concept of high conservation value forests in 1999 caused widespread concern in the world within . 2002 , the the forestry cooperation project by WWF and IKEA Sweden , high conservation value concept introduced into China , but China has been the lack of systematic research in this regard . In 2006 , the paper relying on major scientific and technological projects of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Beijing mountain forest health management research and demonstration of key technologies \This study is based on the definition of high conservation value forests in Beijing , the standard threshold \use of high conservation value forests defined threshold , to extract information of high conservation value forests in Beijing , and a statistical analysis of its type , structure . In addition, according to the high conservation value forest information in ArcGIS Patch Analysis plug - in support , landscape fragmentation analysis of the Beijing high conservation value forests . Finally, the main threat of of Beijing all kinds of high conservation value forests . The results show that : ( 1) high conservation value forests in Beijing totaled 238124.8hm2, Volume 4939554.7m3 . Nature Reserve types of high conservation value forest area in all types of forests of high conservation value , for 103127hm2, accounting for 43.3% of the overall area of high conservation value forests , followed by the basic services of nature conservation value forests , area of ??94044 hm2, accounting for 39.5% of the total area of ??both the main body of the high conservation value forests in Beijing . High conservation value forest land class broadleaf forest , accounting for 53.2% of the overall proportion , coniferous and mixed forests smallest proportion (9.2%) . (2 ) Beijing high conservation value forest patch average area of ??small edge density , severe fragmentation , the farmland shelterbelts fragmentation is the most serious ; fractal dimension values ??between 1.3 and 1.4 . ( 3 ) unreasonable development, deforestation and forest grazing , inadequate regulations, management team confusion , irrational structure of the forest is a the Beijing high conservation value forests existing major threat .
