Abstract


Objective: To investigate the the FEN1 gene mutation role in the pathogenesis of patients with lupus nephritis (Lupus nephritis, LN) . Methods: 43 patients with LN and peripheral blood of 26 healthy specimens , whole blood genomic DNA and pillar extraction kit extract DNA, directly amplified by PCR FEN1 gene fragments amplified PCR products using gene sequencing method to detect FEN1 gene sequence , and the sequencing results of the gene database FEN1 gene compare , the search for a possible mutation point . χ2 test was used to compare the LN patients and healthy persons FEN1 gene mutation . Results : LN patients positive sequencing 946 base C deletion mutation ( P = 0.046 ) . Conclusion : LN patients FEN1 genes exist 946 base C deletion mutation .
