Abstract


The hotel industry is an important part of the modern service industry, the core elements of our tourism industry, with integrated high value employment absorption ability and industry related degree. National \The hotel industry is an important part of the tourism industry. Good accommodation reception services in order to better serve the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Shanghai and neighboring cities to build a large number of tourist hotels facilities. Construction of tourist hotels on the one hand to improve the reception capacity of the Shanghai area, and enhance the level of service, on the other hand, increased competition also makes the tourist hotel industry, various hotel faces a clear positioning, more intense competition in the market looking for new development the grim situation of the opportunity. In this study, the Industrial Economics \the impact of the hotel industry, and on this basis, the opportunities and challenges facing the development of Pudong New Area Tourism Hotel Industry Expo. Opportunities faced mainly include: Shanghai tourism \in Utah; internationally renowned brands tourist hotels enter, improve the the Pudong hotel industry level, the promotion of cluster development. Challenges posed: after Expo dip effect; advantage of the high-speed development of the other counties, Pudong New Area, the tourist hotel industry has been weakened; core area rising premium costs, operating costs faced price challenges. After the development of the hotel industry's experience with the revelation of the full sum after the Olympic Games, the strategic measures for the development of the Pudong New Area hotel industry after the World Expo. From the government's point of view: to enhance the positioning of the Pudong New Area, the tourism industry; strengthen Information flawed, improve the investment tax policy, to play the role of information and tax investment guide; optimize the structure of the level and type of tourist hotels to promote pluralism and balanced development; optimize the tourism The layout of the MICE industry and the hotel industry, the hotel industry in the development of services in the Pudong New Area, the tourism and convention industry; strengthen regulations and standards and the credit system to promote the development of hotel industry specification; Expo platform to improve the Pudong New Area in promoting a mechanism. From the tourist hotel enterprises angle: To do the positioning differentiation and detailed; want to group and brand development; must rely on the Expo effect, prominent international festival and event marketing; tourist hotel industry talent to make great efforts to train, especially high-level management personnel; want the hotel industry in tourism development strategy, promoting the joint development of tourism and exhibition, auxiliary tourist exhibition features improve the Pudong New Area. The research on a clear direction of development of Shanghai Pudong New Area hotel industry, and to promote their healthy development and enhance the visibility, to attract more tourists, better service and so has important practical significance in the development of the tourism and convention industry.
