Abstract


In modern Chinese literary history, Eileen Chang was known as "genius," "Wonder Woman". It was not too much that she was said to be a writer with a unique talent and personal style in the history of modern Chinese literature. She is a "poet philosopher "with the ability of Philosophical and metaphysical thinking, and with the Philosophical characteristics of transcending space (urban) and time (history). She displayed weakness of human nature such as selfish, insane, crazy and so on. The helplessness to the survival of human being, the revealing and examining to the fatelessness, and the inquiry to the life and sense of survival are undoubtedly at a higher level closed to the artistic nature of poetry. When walking into the works of Eileen Chang, we are much more like entering a maze of art. It looks like a world of poetry; projection of the subjective experiences, potential lyrical strokes, exaggerated and delicate descriptions, generous colored images, beautiful flowing colors, romantic and fantasy languages, and the flowing over of the music, sorrowful and profound meaning imagines, and a string of witty novel metaphors, a lot of unique wisdom symbols, much subtle and delicate synesthesia……The wide imagination space, the abundance of the sense world, all motivate Eileen Chang’s works to burst out the poetry brilliant.This article tries to take temperament and poetic temperament as an entry point, to take analysis and summary as the research methods, to look through her unique mental characteristics by closely associating with her legendary life experiences and life events; On the base of above to research her creative works, to analysis and discuss her poetic expression from the perspectives of subject meaning and writing style, in order to dig out the unique connotative meaning of poet temperament and the poetic charm.
