Abstract

Cao zhi is an outstanding writer, who occupies an important position in the literary field of Jian’an time. He created a lot of poetry, Fu, monument, Lei and other works in his whole life. His life is full of ups and downs. During his daring and energetic early days, as a childe, Cao Zhi brings friends to wander, go hunting, travel and feast, singing with wine in his hands. At the same time, he could create works with vivid colors and bright views. The choice of scenery was consistent with Cao Zhi’s mind then, which is full of high-spirited air. With the failure of successor war, he suffered depressed mood, life-threatening and must be careful and cautious anytime. The negative thoughts had grown day by day. In order to avoid persecution, his works and ideas tend to nihility. In this way, he can put suppression in the reality into the ideal place with ideas flying. Through describing the forest scenery and fairy mirage, he expresses his state of mind obscurely. Works come from the heart, so his works at all times are true reflection of his personal experiences. Cao Zhi is a connecting role in the history of literature, on the one hand, he inherited the realist tradition of the "Book of Songs", and daily life will be incorporated into works to express his own feelings. The more creative point is:in the "Book of Songs", sceneries are often used as a starting with few virtual descriptions. As to Cao Zhi, he began to gradually increase the weight of landscape description in his poetry, and showed his own feelings in the scenery in order to reflect his own life. On the other hand, Cao Zhi’s works could reflect writers’five-character poem in Han Dynasty. ("Nineteen", as the main representative). He shows it in the use of "Nineteen Ancient Poems", the suit of the topic and the use of artistic means(including starting with scenery description and symbolic mean) and so on. Hu Ying-Iin said:"Cao Zijian is the only one who inherits the tenet of the "19 "afterwards. " As to lighten younger generations, Cao’s use of techniques of adopting views and artistic means influence the future poetry of landscape and Xie Lingyun. When the younger generations create the poems, they use the technique of Cao Zhi’s writing and imitate his artistic means. They create pure landscape poetry to form the true beginning and peak of Landscape Poetry. Among Cao Zhi’s large number of works, the author will focus on the scenery description in his poetry and Fu. This article will focus on works of Cao Zhi’s Poetry and Fu, analyzing and summarizing the scenery writing in them. In this way, he can know the famous poet’s impacts to the future landscape of poetry and poets from the other perspective. Jian’an is a self-conscious era in Chinese literature and Jian’an literature is a transitional phase of Chinese literature, which has inherited the fine traditions from the "Book of Songs", and laid a solid foundation for the arrival of the Golden Age of the Tang and Song Literature. Cao Zhi is not the exception. He not only inherits the fine tradition of the "Book of Songs", but also has his own development and innovation of the scenery writing. He takes up an important position in the history of Chinese literature.The first chapter is an introduction about Cao Zhi and the previous researches on him. Especially, among his works of different periods, the author sorts and classifies the poetry which touches on scenery description. At the same time, he sums up the previous studies on his works.After analyzing his works, the author gains the features of the elements of scenery description in the second chapter. He tries to find the cause of forming the elements of scenery description from the perspective of the development of Chinese literature. In this paper, one is his acceptance of "The Book of Songs", the other is the influence on five-character poem("nineteen as a representative").In chapter three, the author does researches from the history of accepting Cao and his works. In the history, most people talk about his Fu and his literary ideology. In this part, the author investigates his scenery writing’s influence on the formation of the landscape poetry in Nan dynasty from the aspect of his writing techniques, especially for his impact on Xie Lingyun, who is the founder of the landscape poetry. Lastly, the author shows Cao’s works’scenery writing position in the development of literary history note from the vertical view.
