Abstract


Driven by the factors of economic globalization and technical progress, enterprises’environment show more and more high uncertainty, and that led to the enterprises’internal structure and personnel instability. Companies may take measures such as downsizing, temporary lay-off, employee leasing to cope with environmental uncertainty, so the staff feel hire unwarranted. Meanwhile, with the development of the knowledge-based economy, the market competition is increasingly fierce, and employee tradition to weaken, while also the increasing staff mobility. Strengthen job security, reduce staff turnover rate, is a powerful way to make the enterprise keep core talents, stable staff team and improve economic efficiency.Firstly, this article combined job security with employee tradition on literature at home and abroad .the writer studied their relationship with the turnover, thereby made the theoretical framework of this study and the research hypothesis. Secondly, taken the 182 employees in enterprises as samples, using analysis of variance, correlation analysis and regression analysis and other methods through SPSS 17.0, this paper discussed the relationship of job security, employee tradition and turnover intention. This article studied the relationship of job security, employee tradition and turnover intention and the impact to turnover intention, researched the impact of the interaction effects of job security and employee tradition on turnover intention, as well as the regulating role of employee tradition in the relationship between job security and turnover intention. And the paper discussed the impact of demographic variables on each variable.Through empirical analysis, this study reached the following conclusions: (1) Gender, age, working years, educational background, positions have significant impact on all variables. Marital status have significant impact on job security. Organization property have significant impact on job security and turnover intention. Working nature have significant impact on employee tradition and turnover intention. (2) job security and turnover intention showed significantly negative correlation. (3) employee tradition and turnover intention showed significantly negative correlation. (4) The interactive effects of job security and employee tradition impact on turnover intention. employee tradition has the regulating role in the relationship between job security and turnover intention.
