LiangXi is the first Minister of Forestry in PRC, who is the famous forest scientists,the forest educator and social activist, one of the pioneers of the modern forestry. He saw that forests was damaged severely. In order to change the construction of the forests, he proposed a series of measure.His idea of forestry played the vital role in our construction of forestry, which had the epoch-making significance.The aim of the paper is studying the LiangXi’s forestry thinking. He proposed the plan that the plan was made by the nation and was participated by the people, which result in combining the eco-efficiency, economic efficiency, and social efficiency. On the one hand,in order to protecting the ecological environment,the forests should be protected and planted. On the other hand,in order to immediate interest and Long-term interests, the forestry industries should be developed.In the same time,the idea of the forestry education was put forward by LiangXi,During the analysis, I made the more comprehensive and complete study,which broke many imitations comparing with the past research of LiangXi’s forestry thinking which is neither comprehensive nor system enough. I will found revelation of his forestry thinking trying to make some improvements in the relevant theoretical research.
