Abstract

Of cotton production and consumption country, as military and civilian industrial materials and cash crops of cotton, has an important role in the development of the national economy. Since the founding, strong support in the country, after years of unremitting efforts, in particular, the regional party committee to determine \. Xinjiang as China's largest cotton-growing areas the Xinjiang 86 counties (cities) in the perennial cotton planting of 63 counties (cities). The Xinjiang cotton acreage increased by 33.41 one thousand hectares in 1949 to 1409.31 one thousand hectares in 2009, production increased from 05,100 tons to 2.524 million tons in cotton production in the country's 15 provinces and autonomous regions in the column. Xinjiang cotton production as the most important cotton production base in China, whether over the Xinjiang wheat, corn, sugar beets, and other grain - by crop advantage? What are the advantages and problems on the cost structure compared with the major cotton production at home and abroad? Affect the cost of cotton production in Xinjiang What the main factors and cotton planting predicament? systematic study of these issues, is of great significance for the reduction and control of cotton production costs, increase farmers' income, and the construction of high-quality cotton production base, and improve the efficiency of agricultural production. In this paper, the use of agricultural economics, regional economics and accountancy and knowledge, and to follow the principle of unity of history and logic, to take the combination of macro analysis and micro analysis, empirical research and normative research combined quantitative and qualitative analysis combined a variety of methods and comparative analysis, a comprehensive analysis of cotton production costs and benefits of the formation and its variation, proved the key factors that affect the cost of cotton production in Xinjiang, and to make appropriate recommendations to further reduce the operating costs of cotton production in Xinjiang. This paper is divided into six chapters. Chapter 1 Introduction of the purpose and significance of the title of the study established summarized research status at home and abroad to introduce the basic idea of ??this paper, research methods and thesis structure framework. The second chapter, select the accounting system of the costs and benefits of cotton production. Distinguish several cost concepts, as well as our traditions and now with the cost of production of agricultural products revenue accounting distinction of the two types of agricultural production cost accounting system and its advantages: Chapter 4 is the core part of Xinjiang cotton production costs constitute the basis of the detailed analysis, focusing on the comparative analysis of cotton production and the level of costs and benefits and other grain of the same area - the income level of crop production costs, the income level of the cost of production of cotton and other major cotton fields at home and abroad a detailed comparative analysis. Chapter V, the focus of analysis to the impact of factors affect the cost-benefit of Xinjiang cotton production and cotton production predicament. Finally, the text of Chapter Summary, and in accordance with the results of comparative analysis put forward several countermeasures to reduce Xinjiang cotton production costs and improve production and operating efficiency.
