Abstract

Traffic safety has become a major problem worldwide. In China, the transportation industry to grow, the number of traffic accidents also increased year by year. Fence is an important traffic safety facilities, to reduce the severity of road traffic accidents and reduce economic losses plays a key role. Currently our common security fence with rigid fence, guardrail, which is semi-rigid guardrail guardrail currently the most widely used form. Flexible barrier for the domestic little research related specifications established mainly foreign research, and a number of highway guardrail flexible user experience. This study first summarizes the history of development of domestic and flexible fence, research status, and for the development of common research methods fence, and on this basis to establish the content of this study, research methods. Ultimately determine the numerical simulation as a research method, using the finite element software LS-DYNA for cars - cable guardrail collision system is simulated by changing the structure parameters of influence rope guardrail guardrail safety factor. Fence is to determine the maximum dynamic deformation and roadside clear width of the body is an important indicator of overturning. From the calculation results were found, the indicator on the column spacing is very sensitive, followed by the initial tension effects, for the installation length, in a certain length of more than installing the change is relatively small; maximum acceleration of the vehicle with respect to the changes in a variety of situations are more sensitive; during the collision, the contact force is a measure of vehicle damage and occupant safety is an important indicator. Analysis found that the rope fence during the collision with the car its size is much smaller than the same energy vehicles on the guardrail collision force; in energy conversion and absorption, automotive and cable guardrail system, collision, car most of the kinetic energy reduction Fence absorption, other forms of energy conversion little. Energy absorbed mainly by the fence post and ropes to bear, according to the above parameters, the energy distribution vary slightly. The collision force-time curve can be seen, the same curve graph, only the value with the difference in the initial conditions change, and the impact force is much smaller than the collision of vehicles on the guardrail force, which is far less than the stiffness of rigid cable divider guardrail produced the inevitable result. The above analysis, the design of the rope fence for security reasons, the primary consideration is the column spacing, followed by the initial tension ropes, and finally the installation length. In some mountain highway accident-prone sections of the side of the road in case enough headroom to install cable barriers can play better security results.
