Objective: To investigate the risk factors associated with the Dalian City thyroid cancer, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of thyroid cancer. Method: 1:1 matched case-control study was conducted in Dalian University Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital inpatient surgery due to thyroid tumors diagnosed by pathological diagnosis of thyroid cancer patients between January 2008 to December 2009, a total of 200 cases. In accordance with the principle of 1:1 at the same time, the hospital during the same period, non-tumor patients with non-thyroid, breast disease control 200. Matching conditions: the same sex, age ± 3 years old. Cases and controls himself face-to-face survey of 200 thyroid cancer patients and controls using a unified design questionnaire by trained investigators. The questionnaire mainly include: general, lifestyle behaviors, eating habits, social and psychological factors, female reproductive history, medical history, and family history. Information obtained using Excel tables to establish a database, and using SPSS11.5 and SAS8.2 statistical software for analysis, univariate analysis using χ2 test, rank sum test and univariate conditional logistic regression analysis, mainly depending on the type of data and multi- conditional logistic regression for multivariate analysis. Results: Univariate analysis showed that high education level, place of residence for the city, taste, ten years ago, more consumption of marine animal food, sea vegetable species and preserved foods, high maternal age, and had long-term use of estrogen-like drugs, early pregnancy early fertile age is too high, has thyroid disease, and family history of cancer as risk factors for thyroid cancer. Psychological factors often feel pressured to love sulking, failing reluctant to talk with people and attitudes which are somewhat pessimistic, marital disharmony, and do not get along with people of thyroid cancer risk factors. Initial screening of thyroid cancer Multivariate conditional logistic regression analysis, the results show that excessive intake of ten years ago, marine animal food and sea vegetable species, the higher the education level, love sulking, and does not get along with others Harmony as risk factors for thyroid cancer. Conclusion: The incidence of thyroid cancer in Dalian City, is the result of multiple factors, a high degree of culture, ten years ago, marine animal food and sea vegetable intake too much, love sulking, and do not get along with people is thyroid cancer risk factor.
